Jenn joins our team with an extensive background in nursing spanning two decades, nearly half of which was dedicated to mother-baby and lactation nursing. Jenn attained her initial International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners in 2016 and quickly embraced her new role as lead Lactation Consultant at a major Houston hospital.
Jenn’s journey to becoming an IBCLC began as a new mother struggling to breastfeed her first born son. At the time, resources seemed scarce and she earnestly wished for more assistance and education than what was offered. Having experienced this, Jenn’s approach to assisting families in achieving their personal breastmilk feeding goals is very hands-on and education based. She instills confidence in her clients and encourages them throughout the learning process.
Her ability to connect with her clients and put them at ease with her humor and compassion is one of her greatest strengths. She is also astute at assessing the situation at hand and providing solutions in collaboration with the entire family. Jenn is passionate about helping families succeed in their personal feeding goals and is thrilled to be serving central Florida communities including Ocala and Gainesville.
