Congratulations on making the decision to breastfeed! By breastfeeding your baby, you will be giving your baby the absolute BEST start in life, as only YOU can! Whether you’re just beginning your breastfeeding journey, planning to breastfeed, or are an experienced nursing mom, we’re delighted you’re here and look forward to helping you reach your breastfeeding goals!
Women have been breastfeeding their babies since the beginning of time. Breastfeeding is “natural” and breast milk is the best first food for babies. But, breastfeeding is not always easy. Many moms struggle at some point during their breastfeeding journey, whether it is with perfecting their newborn’s latch, struggling with low milk supply, or battling thrush and mastitis. Breastfeeding, while natural, is a learned “art” and takes practice. If you are just beginning your nursing journey with your baby, remember, both you and your baby must work together to learn the basics of breastfeeding. Most importantly, know you are NOT ALONE! Breastfeeding support is available and most breastfeeding challenges can be overcome! We are here to help you in your journey.
If breastfeeding hurts, get help!
