Sara’s personal experience with breastfeeding and pumping began with the premature birth of her twins [born at 28 weeks gestation after many years of infertility]. With her twins, Sara exclusively pumped, utilizing Supplemental Nursing Systems, all while managing jaundice and lip/tongue tie release (frenectomy). With her third and fourth babies, she was able to exclusively breastfeed, but also learned how to navigate bottle refusal and managing oversupply. These experiences and over a decade of working with newborns and their families, prompted Sara to pursue her passion in supporting others in their breastfeeding and pumping journey.
