Renea Coberly is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Registered Nurse (RN), wife, and mother of three serving families in and around Orlando, FL. Renea earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. John’s College of Nursing and worked as an RN in Illinois for 15 years before relocating to Central FL in 2018 with her family. Renea spent 13 years working in Labor and Delivery at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, Illinois where she discovered her passion for assisting new mothers and babies with breastfeeding. In 2012, Renea obtained the Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) designation from The Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice – Healthy Children’s Center for Breastfeeding and went on to write a proposal for Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital’s first breastfeeding support group. Shortly after, she formed a Breastfeeding Task Force with Abraham Lincoln Memorial, the local clinic, and the local health department. The newly-formed Breastfeeding Task Force was successful in ensuring every breastfeeding mother had access to breastfeeding assistance 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Together, the Task Force also helped to gather support from local businesses in normalizing breastfeeding in public. In 2015 Renea earned her certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners.
Renea and her family recently relocated to Central FL and now call Apopka, FL home.
